Bulgaria is fast becoming the hottest destination for both tourists and property investors.
Bulgaria dominates the centre of Eastern Europe, bounded by rugged mountains, the Danube to the north and its stunning 354km coastline with the Black Sea.

Since 1989 Bulgaria has been a free market economy and is still expanding rapidly,
and along with it the property prices are now booming; however,
property price levels are still well below other comparable countries:
Current real economic growth: 4.8% (2002 est.).
Inflation rate: 5.9% (2002 est.).
GDP per capita (PPP): $6,600 (2002 est.).
Export Industries: clothing, footwear, iron and steel, machinery and equipment, food stuffs.
Export nations: Italy 14%, Turkey 10%, Germany 9%, Greece 8%, Serbia and Montenegro 8% (2000).
